“India was a shining light during this difficult time of my step-mother’s passing. Being a blended family I had to consider some very delicate issues while planning this funeral. India, with her calm presence and caring nature provided me with the guidance I needed to complete this journey. Together we were able to select songs, poems and work out an appropriate program to honour this strong woman whose life philosophy was to: “Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone”. These are words from a song by Elvis Presley, which was played at the start of the service.

Again, thanks to India’s unique skill in finding the most suitable words and delivering these in a positive and uplifting manner we were each completely drawn into the service. Besides songs and words, India also included a candle lighting session which provided each of us an opportunity to directly participate in the service.

I could not have envisaged such a dignified, respectful and serene atmosphere without India’s involvement. She fully understood the complexity of the situation and by her thorough planning, organisation and positivity she took us on a path where we could experience peace and love in these moments.
